πAsset Portfolio
Where climate funding becomes verified carbon capacity.
π Asset Portfolio
Your contributions unlock real hectares of regeneration β and long-term access to carbon.
Blue Carbon Gold is not a speculative token economy β it is a carbon-backed asset layer, where each dollar contributed funds verified ecological growth, and each token issued reflects a real claim on the carbon it produces.
We manage this through a multi-project, multi-region asset portfolio, carefully built and diversified to ensure long-term credit output and ecological resilience.
π οΈ How the Portfolio Works
We structure funding into clearly defined campaign funds, each mapped to specific greenfield projects that:
Are managed by verified asset partners (e.g., Vlinder)
Have clear land tenure and community agreements
Are eligible under Verra methodologies
Undergo strict due diligence before planting
Each project delivers real, measurable carbon yield over 30+ years. Each fund represents a share of this yield β translated into BCGOLD once verified.

𧱠Portfolio Model
π± Greenfield Projects
New mangrove reforestation zones identified, funded, and planted.
π¦ Campaign Funds
Pooled capital directed to specific country/region planting rounds.
π§Ύ Carbon Credit Output
Each project has estimated long-term tCOβ yield verified by Verra.
π§ Weighting System
Portfolio performance is adjusted for yield and cost variability (Kenya = baseline 1.0x).
πΌ Governance & Allocation
All credits flow into a unified vault governed by BCGOLD holders.
π Fund 1: Greenfields Kenya (Papariko Project)
Our first launched fund targets 1,143 hectares of degraded mangrove coastline in southern Kenya. It is already in the planting and validation phase.
Verified Methodology: VCS 3660 (switching to VM0033)
Total Credits Expected: ~666,920 tCOβ over 30 years
BCGOLD Vault Allocation: 233,422 credits (35%)
Cost Basis: ~$3M for 1,000 ha (Kenya = 1.0x weighting)
Live Fund Contribution Cost: $3.33/mΒ²

π How New Funds Are Added
BCG capital is pooled from contributions via campaign widgets or dApps
New greenfield projects are reviewed and validated by the asset partner
Planting begins only after land and community validation is complete
Projected credit yield is integrated into NAV calculations
Tokens are only issued after Verra audits confirm credit registration
