Vlinder Portfolio, current and future.
As Blue Carbon Gold (BCG) embarks on a transformative initiative, we proudly present our Project Packs, each representing a robust step toward regenerating vital ecosystems and contributing to the fight against climate change. Here's a look into the potential and significance of each pack, tied to specific countries with a promise of positive impact:
Kenya Pack
Total Capacity: 1,000 hectares
Launching Tranche: 500 hectares
Capital Deployment: $1.25M for initial launch
NFT Distribution: Over 50,000 NFTs available
Impact: This pack aims to reforest degraded coastlines in Kenya, restoring the mangrove forests crucial for local community resilience and biodiversity. These regenerated areas will not only bolster coastal defenses but also provide new habitats for marine life.
Senegal Pack
Total Capacity: 1,000 hectares
Launching Tranche: 500 hectares
Impact Narrative: The Senegal pack will focus on regenerating mangrove ecosystems, pivotal for protecting the rich cultural and ecological heritage of Senegal's coastal regions. Local communities will be intricately involved in the process, ensuring the restoration efforts align with their needs and contribute to sustainable livelihoods.
Tanzania Pack
Total Capacity: 6,000 hectares
Launching Tranche: 500 hectares
Future Goals: Set against Tanzania's diverse coastal landscapes, this pack holds a promise for extensive restoration work over the next 1-5 years. It underscores the potential to transform significantly deforested areas into thriving, carbon-absorbing, and biodiverse habitats.
Indonesia Pack
Total Capacity: 30,000 hectares
Launching Tranche: 500 hectares
Vision for Growth: Indonesia, with its vast coastal lines and critical mangrove forests, presents a significant opportunity for regeneration. This pack supports a broader vision of ecosystem recovery, engaging local stewards in a collective mission to revitalize their coastal environment.
Pipeline β Project Packs, Funding Flows & Verified Carbon Credit Streams
Blue Carbon Gold (BCGOLD) operates on a modular project-pack system, allowing contributors to fund specific, verified mangrove regeneration efforts and receive a transparent, on-chain claim to the resulting carbon credits.
Each Project Pack represents a fully scoped blue carbon regeneration initiative, executed by trusted local partners, audited under Verra standards, and structured for long-term carbon yield.
Project Packs β Structure & Data
Each pack includes:
Location & Implementation Partner (e.g., UMITA Ltd. in Kenya, Diamani Kouta in Senegal).
Crediting Period: Typically 30β40 years of verified carbon credit generation.
Restored Area: Defined in hectares.
Projected Carbon Credits: Verified Carbon Units (VCUs) expected over the crediting period.
Upfront Funding Need: Capital required to initiate planting, auditing, and early maintenance.
Expected Annualized Carbon Commodity Yield: Modeled as a % range, based on carbon credit flow, not ROI.

Funding Mechanisms
BCGOLD allows flexible funding methods to fill each pack:
1. Direct Purchase / Donation
Users allocate funds directly into a project pack.
Each dollar secures rights to a proportional share of the future verified carbon credits.
Contributors receive a token placeholder (NFT or fractional token) representing this claim.
2. ETH Staking via Lido
Users stake ETH; a portion of staking yield is routed to fund a pack.
Principal remains with the staker; only yield is donated.
Yield contributors receive proportional credit entitlements.
Once fully funded, the pack proceeds to implementation, triggering the ecosystem restoration process.
